Our clients love what they do and want more from their practices

Dallas Downtown City Mirror Skyscraper Buildings

Is success elusive, even after years of hard work and excellent service for your clients?

Are you frustrated by the direction your business is heading and the lack of progress toward your goals?

Do the daily tasks of working in your business seem so overwhelming that you never have time to work on your practice?

What If…

  • You could get up every morning knowing exactly what the plan for your business is?
  • You knew how to attract your perfect clients to your business?
  • You had confidence in your ability to implement your plan so you knew your goals would become reality?

The good news is you can discover your path to the business success you have worked so hard for

Practice To Business works with business owners in a variety of industries, to show them how to take their companies and build them into the business of their dreams.

Owning and managing a successful business is difficult. You are constantly reminded of the statistics that say how hard it is to succeed. You focus on trying to market and sell your services, collect the money, keep accurate records, and hope, at the end of the day, that you’ve made some money.

As a professional, the success of your business is based on the quality of service and expertise you offer to your clients and customers. You are the focal point for the business and maintaining your professional effectiveness is a high priority. Focusing on that professional effectiveness and managing a successful business requires a special balance.

Do you need help taking your business to the next level?

Contact me for a free 20-minute consult so we can explore the possibilities for your business, and to see if I might be the right fit for you.

Others who have worked with Practice To Business say…

We started working together in September and by April of the following year I had more probate cases than the entire previous year.

When I started working with Steve my practice was unfocused and contained cases that were not consistent with the direction I wanted to go.  I had no coordinated marketing strategy and no web presence when we began working together.

Now, my practice is headed in the right direction, with few cases outside my preferred area of practice.  I have a significant web presence, with two websites and an email newsletter with a distribution list of over 400.  I have published my first book, Alone and Alive, a practical guide for dealing with the death of your husband, and have my second book in progress.

Steve helps you understand and focus on your strengths and then use them effectively to set the right goals and accomplish them.”

I recently added an additional degree which gives me many more opportunities to provide various types of care for my patients. I started working with Mr. Hendon to help me determine what type of practice I wanted and how to attract my ideal patients. I wanted to control the growth. I feared without this process, the practice would control me.

While working with Mr. Hendon, I have enjoyed the process of the changes and actually look forward to implementing them.  I have had the opportunity for personal and professional growth. I truly want to thank him for his insight and gentle way of coaching me.  I encourage anyone who is looking to change their practice and their life to take the opportunity to work with him.”

Your methods and knowledge have helped me more than I can express. They have allowed me to accept that I am doing the work that is in line with my strengths and core values. I also find that I’m more focused as I plan the future.

The work we have done in articulating the best clients for me has had a measurable impact on the types of clients that I’m now attracting to my practice. This work is also helping me learn to say no to certain projects.

You have tapped into a part of my brain that helps me recognize the truth of who I am, what I value, what I find important in life and business, and what I can bring to the table in my work.”

Knowing Our Strengths Could Have Saved The Business

You probably know by now that I believe in the power of individual strengths and how they can be transformational in our personal and professional lives.  I even made the statement last month in my newsletter that I am going to be more focused on my strengths this year to help me grow my business […]

A Talk With An Old Friend

I recently had a conversation with one of my past bosses whom I consider a friend and a mentor.  We talk a few times each year and I always come away with little nuggets of wisdom.  The latest conversation generated an “aha” moment that really resonated with me. We were talking about business in general […]

Is This The Best We Can Do?

There’s not a business owner or manager that would disagree that a highly functioning group of employees or team members is important to the success of a business. It was spring 1997. I had just been named sales manager for the local division of the national company I worked for.  It’s important to know that […]

Anatomy of a Hopeful Person

Have you ever used the word hope to describe something you want? “I hope to be a successful attorney.” “I hope to start my own Chiropractic Practice.” “I hope to start a business and be my own boss.” “I hope to be the top salesperson this year.” “I hope to ______ someday.” Be honest, haven’t […]

How’s Your Foundation

I live in a beautiful area with rolling hills and open spaces. It’s a great place to walk for exercise and relaxation. Recently, on one of my walks, I passed a couple looking at one of the homes for sale. They asked if they could ask me a few questions and I was glad to […]
